Alps and Alpine, now start out afresh as Alps Alpine Europe
Creating new value by deepening and integrating our two unique backgrounds
Following the merger of Alps Alpine in Japan last year, on October 1st, 2020, its European affiliates Alps Alpine Europe GmbH and Alpine Electronics (Europe) GmbH integrated their businesses and started out afresh as Alps Alpine Europe GmbH.
A fourth industrial revolution harnessing artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things is taking shape drawing on increasingly sophisticated communication infrastructure. In the automotive industry the so-called CASE (connected cars, autonomous driving, sharing and services, and electric vehicles) and MaaS (Mobility as a Service) trends are causing a fundamental structural transformation. These developments are causing major changes to the way we work and lead our lives.
In this climate of turbulent change and transition we sensed a need to evolve into a structure that could more effectively leverage our innovativeness with technology and enhance the value of our products. Key to succeed in this new era and achieve sustainable growth is to make use of our resources with flexibility and speed. Alps Electric has built up expertise in device development based on original technologies and advanced production capabilities over a period of over 70 years and today boasts a vast global manufacturing and sales network. Combining this with Alpine’s strength in system design and software development, we as Alps Alpine, endeavour to deliver new value to our customers, meeting diverse needs from providing state-of-the art electronic components to full system integration.
