Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto Upgrade for Porsche Cayenne

We recently completed a multimedia upgrade on a Porsche Cayenne, installing the Kenwood DMX-6523DABS, bringing the vehicle fully up to date with modern connectivity and safety features.

Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

One of the highlights of this installation is wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows the driver to connect their smartphone automatically without cables, providing instant access to navigation, calls, messages, music, and apps directly on the Kenwood touchscreen. The wireless connection keeps the interior clean and clutter-free while maintaining full functionality and convenience.

Steering Wheel Controls Fully Retained

To ensure a factory-like experience, we used a dedicated steering wheel control adaptor. This allows all original steering wheel buttons to work perfectly with the new Kenwood system, giving the driver full control over volume, track selection, and calls without taking hands off the wheel. The integration is seamless, preserving both comfort and safety.

Parking Sensors Displayed on Screen

For enhanced safety and ease of parking, the factory parking sensors are now displayed directly on the Kenwood screen. Visual feedback appears in real time, clearly showing obstacle proximity alongside audible alerts. This makes parking and maneuvering the Cayenne even easier, especially in tight spaces.

Professional Integration

The Kenwood DMX-6523DABS was installed cleanly into the dashboard, maintaining the premium look of the Porsche interior while adding modern technology. Every feature works smoothly, as if factory-fitted.
